Reduce file size for email, web upload, and storage. Text PDFs are re-saved with stronger compression and may shrink only a little; image-only scans are rebuilt from lower-resolution page images, which shrinks them more but removes any text layer. Compression runs on your device, for files up to 200 MB.

Add a text or image watermark to a PDF. Set the opacity and the rotation; the watermark goes on every page, and the opacity is kept light so the page stays readable. Ideal for marking drafts "Confidential" or branding with a logo.

PDF to Word, PDF to Excel, Excel to PDF and PowerPoint to PDF use DocFila's online conversion service (up to 50 MB), and the app asks before it uploads a file. HEIC photos need to be saved as JPG first. Merge converted images into one PDF with the merge tool.

DocFila processes most PDF tools on your device, so those files stay on your phone. The exceptions are the four conversions listed above, which use DocFila's online service. There is no watermark on your edits, and the PDF tools do not need a subscription.
