You took a photo of a whiteboard, a receipt, or a signed form — and now someone needs it as a PDF. Converting images to PDF is one of the most common everyday tasks, yet many people still email raw photos or screenshots instead. A proper PDF looks more professional, is easier to read, and keeps multiple pages in a single file.
Images and PDFs serve different purposes. Here is why PDF is often the better format for sharing documents:
Launch DocFila and open the Converter in the Tools section, then choose Images to PDF. You can also search for “jpg to pdf” or “photo to pdf” in the converter's search box.
Tap Choose files to convert and select one or more images, then use Add more files if you need to add others. DocFila reads these image formats:
DocFila cannot read HEIC or HEIF photos. If your iPhone saves photos as HEIC, export them as JPG first (the Photos app can do this, or set the camera to Most Compatible).
Pick A4 (the default), US Letter, or Page fits each image. Each image becomes one page, in the order you chose the files. Photos taken sideways are turned upright using the orientation stored in the photo.
Tap convert. The conversion runs on your device, so the images are not uploaded. When the PDF is ready, choose Save converted file and pick where to put it.
Converting images to PDF does not read the text in them, so the PDF is not searchable on its own. If you want searchable text from photos of documents, scan them with DocFila's document scanner, which can read the text with OCR, or run text recognition separately.
