How to Make a Professional Flyer for Free (No Design Skills)
By DocFila Team · May 1, 2026 · 6 min read
You don't need Photoshop or a graphic designer to make a flyer that gets read. DocFila Studio's flyer lab has about 70 flyer templates and an editor, and exports a PDF for print or a PNG for social media.
Pick a template that fits your event
- Event flyers — concerts, parties, conferences, school events.
- Sale flyers — retail discounts, restaurant specials, real estate open houses.
- Service flyers — cleaning, tutoring, freelance, lawn care.
- Community flyers — lost pet, garage sale, fundraisers.
Customise in DocFila Studio
- Open DocFila → Studio → Flyers and browse the template gallery.
- Tap a template and replace the placeholder text with your own.
- Add your logo or photo.
- Export a PDF for print or a PNG for social media.
The export presets are A4 print (2480×3508 px, which is 300 dpi), a 4:5 feed post, a 9:16 story, a square and a 16:9 landscape.
Print at home or at FedEx / Staples / Officeworks
Choose the A4 print preset for a flyer you will print. The export has no print bleed, so ask the print shop whether it needs one. For home printing, A4 at 300 dpi is sharp enough for tear-off table flyers.
Design tips that always work
- One headline, one image, one call to action.
- Make the date / phone / URL the second-largest text on the page.
- Leave generous white space — packed flyers get ignored.
- Use no more than two fonts and three colours.
