Check whether a file is one signed through DocFila and sealed by it, byte for byte. No account required — your browser computes the file's SHA-256 fingerprint, and only the fingerprint is sent.
Your browser computes the file's SHA-256 fingerprint. The file itself never leaves your device.
DocFila looks the fingerprint up among the signed, sealed PDFs its signing service produced. It does not match the document as it was sent for signature, or files kept in anyone's library.
If it is found: when the signing was completed (DocFila's server clock), how each signer was authenticated, and the fingerprint of the DocFila seal inside the file. No names or email addresses are shown. Changing even one byte gives a different fingerprint, so a changed file is not found.
A match means this exact file is one DocFila's signing service produced when a signing was completed, and that the record's hash-chained evidence still checks out. The record is kept on DocFila's servers, so this check relies on DocFila. It does not tell you who the signers are; the sender and the signers received the signed PDF with its certificate of completion, which does.
The PDF also carries DocFila's seal, a digital signature over the whole file. A PDF reader that checks signatures shows whether the file changed after it was sealed, without asking DocFila. It will not show the seal as trusted: its certificate is made by DocFila for that one document, not issued by a certificate authority. Read more about Verify →
